Movie Report
Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? directed by Ashwini Dhir is inspired from the noted Indian Hindi poet, writer, satirist late Sharad Joshi's article 'Tum Kab Jaoge Atithi'. The plot sets out to portray the uninvited guest, as a pest rather than a guest and finally spends agonizing playing time portraying him as a messiah in a dhoti.

The film unfolds the story of Puneet [Ajay Devgn] and Munmun [Konkona Sen Sharma], a married couple living in Mumbai. Their lives take an interesting turn when a distant relative, Chachaji [Paresh Rawal], turns up unannounced at their doorstep from a far-off village. The guest overstays his welcome, so much so that the exasperated couple come up with various ploys to hasten his departure.

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? is a light-hearted entertainer that tickles your funny bone at several points. The best part is, you not only laugh at the funny one-liners, but also at situations, which are so life-like and which makes you connect with them instantly.

Performance wise, Paresh Rawal is superb. He gets the opportunity to display his amusing wit with so much ease. Ajay Devgan is commendable. Konkana Sen is just fantastic. Both the leading actors share a good on-screen chemistry. Satish Kaushik's comedy is wonderful.

On the whole, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is really a hilarious movie. The film is for viewers of any age group. Must a watch film.
